Bio

Erik is a professional musician living in Grand Rapids, MI. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Cornerstone University where he majored in guitar performance, focusing on both classical and contemporary techniques. He minored in vocal performance.

Erik provided lead guitar and backup vocals for the bands Carielle and All is Well, from which he has extensive experience in live performance and studio recording.  He enjoys writing original music, especially in collaboration with others, and using unique and interesting guitar techniques like tapping and harmonics. He is always willing to tackle a challenge and loves the feeling of mastering  a new skill.

In his spare time Erik enjoys brewing craft beer and coffee, watching 80's movies, fixing cars, hanging out with his rescued blue heeler mix Jax, and traveling to new places with his wife Megan.
